Matthew 11:28 “Come unto Me.”

“The questions that matter in life are remarkably few, and they are all answered by the words—‘Come unto Me.’…Personal contact with Jesus alters everything.”  ~ Oswald Chambers

These are very powerful and true words from an insightful man. Indeed, everything in life is altered when you come to Jesus, which is the first step on the journey of a lifetime. Your perspective and actions will change when the Holy Spirit truly enters your life. All you want to do is walk in the will and the ways of Jesus. Self-interests become irrelevant as you seek your true Godly purpose.

Any question can be answered, whether it is a moral dilemma or a practical life matter, through God’s word. It is our guide for all things. Spending time studying the holy language within helps us to gain insight, strength, resolve, and intentionality. We would no longer walk in the misty mire of theory, but instead gain the clarity of God’s sovereign truth. If each one of us sought out this truth, we would love one another as Christ loves us, for we would understand there is no other way.

When Jesus was asked what the two greatest commandments were, He answered, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
 (Matthew 22: 37-39)

If we all lived out these two greatest of commandments, it would surely transform the world.
