Where Is My Tent?

1/6/2020
Genesis 12:8

Where is my tent? Do I place myself too close to the world as to hamper my relationship with God? Or do I hide myself away in cloistered prayer and worship, not being of any value to Him in the world? Abraham pitched his tent in between the world and where he built an alter to God. Chambers says, "The measure of the worth of our public activity for God is the private profound communion we have with Him." We must take time to draw near to God in private worship so that we can do the work He has for us in the world. We must always seek Him in worship, wait for His guidance, and work for His Kingdom.

Am I giving God the best that He has given to me in worship?
