Isaiah 35:7 “And the parched ground shall become a pool.”

Did you ever feel God calling you to do something specific or giving you a vision? Shortly afterward, you may start to question whether you are able to do it, or if it is truly from God. The moment we start to waver, Satan will surely find a way in to muddle and confuse us. His lies may just be a whisper, but they could be enough to defeat us. That is why we need to be focused on God and faithful to His word. We need not only to have a fit body and mind, but a fit soul as well.  This is what will truly prepare us for the battle.

We often need to go through a refining fire in order to be prepared for what God has in store for us. Chambers puts it this way, “God gives us the vision, then He takes us down to the valley to batter us into the shape of the vision, and it is in the valley that so many of us faint and give way. Every vision will be made real if we have patience.” I love that idea of being made into the “shape of the vision.” If I am willing, God will stretch and mold me until I am in the form He desires; then I will be prepared to carry out His vision. All this, of course, is done in God’s timing, and His timing is always perfect. The preparation may not be easy, but it is worth it. If I am patient and faithful, God will bring peace to my soul, so I can faithfully step out into the reality of the vision He has given. There is no more humbling and profound blessing than to be told by another soul that you have been used by God in their lives. It is a more precious gift than silver or gold.
