Implicit Faith

1 Thessalonians 3:2 “Fellow labourer in the gospel of Christ.”

I am not alone in sharing the truth and saving grace of the Gospel message. There are other believers all around the world who are actively working for the Kingdom of God. The most important thing for me to remember at all times is that I have Holy Spirit power within me to proclaim Jesus as Lord and Savior. Chambers writes, “After sanctification it is difficult to state what your aim in life is, because God has taken you up into His purpose by the Holy Ghost; He is using you now for His purposes throughout the world as He used His Son for the purpose of our salvation.” I must never act in my own strength or do my own bidding; rather, I must always seek God’s power through the Holy Spirit and yield to His will alone. If I go it alone, no matter how well intentioned I may be, I will be doomed to failure.

Chambers writes, “When I stop telling God I want, He can catch me up for what He wants without let or hindrance. He can crumple me up or exhaust me, He can do anything He chooses. He simply asks me to have implicit faith in Himself and in His goodness.”

It is not about me, it is about Jesus.
