The last few weeks have been a very sobering time for our world. Although I usually reflect on the writing of Oswald Chambers in this blog, tonight I am feeling led to focus solely on the verse he used for today's lesson.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
This is all any of us needs to know and believe; it is a gift from God that is given freely to everyone. Jesus is knocking on the door of every soul. Now is the time to open that door and let Him in, for in Him you will find forgiveness and the peace that transcends all understanding. (Philippians 4:6-7)
During these turbulent times, may you find grace and peace in the
Savior.
